Our story
How Maika Muyka Came About
It all started with me explaining Armenian idioms to my children, in the hopes that they understand more than the literal meaning of terms we use daily. This led to the 1st design idea which was the ցավտ տանեմ design.
The design ideas expanded as my children had ideas of their own in how different idioms can be represented… and next thing we knew we had over 30 designs.
I knew I wanted to do something with these designs and so Maika Muyka came to be.
The t-shirt is in the middle of a fashion renaissance, and we at MAIKA MUYKA are redefining the graphic t-shirt for our generation of Armenians worldwide.
