Ghapama is probably one of the most festive dishes that we have in our Armenian cuisine. It is a stuffed pumpkin, and to many of us it is a reminder of childhood days where while we looked for pumpkins to carve for Halloween, our grandma searched for the perfect pumpkin to cook ghapama. Ghapama is a pumpkin stuffed with rice, dried fruits, apples, honey, melted butter and spiced with cinnamon. In different regions of Armenia ghapama was made in different ways, and in some regions people add meat and different nuts.

Machine-wash cold, inside-out on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and like colors. Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary. You shouldn't use any fabric softeners or dry-clean the items.
Tumble-dry on a low cycle, but hang-dry works best. When it comes to ironing, use cool iron inside-out. Don't iron the print.
Follow these instructions carefully to avoid fading and cracking of the print, and shrinking the garment that can occur if you wash or dry it on a high setting.
